Is this a paid internship? No. This is an unpaid internship. What sort of things will I work on while I'm at the studio? During your hours at the studio, you will be encouraged to work on your own projects that are assigned to you. These projects will range from basic comic book prep routines we teach you, i.e. ruling pages, flatting pages, scanning pages, to actually realizing your own projects you can use in your comic portfolio. Do I have to pay for any supplies? You must have your own tools for this internship. How long is a typical work day? We have flexible schedules and we will try our best to accommodate our interns. The most important thing about getting started is being dedicated to your work outside of the studio. Is there an age restriction? You must be over 18 to apply. Is this internship only available to those living in Dublin, Ireland? Yes. Unless you have a way of being at our studio on the agreed times we cannot accept interns outside of Ireland. How does your selection process work? We will view all applications and portfolios and select artists to interview. After interviews we will select one artist for the internship. Why can't you take on more than one intern? We want to make sure our interns get the most of their time in the studio. What if I want to take part in both internships offered? If you're selected for one of the internships we can discuss this in your interview. We can try our best to give you training in both fields with a focus on one. Is your studio pet friendly? Yes! Please keep in mind we do have a cat, Buffy. If you are deathly allergic to cats, please do not apply!
